Our ServicesThe goals of RITON are three-fold:
- To provide professional technical monitoring with an experienced and certified technical staff utilizing the most advanced IOMN equipment today; and
- To provide professional, real-time interpretation by board certified neurologists in support of the patient, surgeon, and medical facility during surgery.
- To provide HIPAA compliant data and reports via an efficient and secured web portal that has revolutionize the consistency and expediency of all our IONM data.
The Result
To provide a professional level of protection affording reduced cause for unfavorable institutional litigation/surgical outcomes while intraoperatively monitoring the neurological pathways of those who entrust us with the highest standard of medical care and at the lowest possible cost to the hospital.
On the technical side, it is our responsibility to educate the operating room staff about the standard of care for neuromonitoring. An in-house RITON technician will monitor your patient while connecting to a HIPAA compliant website in order to enable the Real-Time Reader to see the data screen during the entire case and to maintain instantaneous messaging and quality oversight with our professional personnel throughout the procedure.
On the reading side, our interpreting readers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year – and by cellular phone (if needed) for direct consultation. This ensures proper risk management for all parties involved. RITON also provides real-time interpretation along with formal interpretation for medical records to be placed in the patient’s chart. All of the above is part of our standard service and are provided at no extra cost to the medical facility.
Remote neural-monitoring conducted by RITON is HIPAA compliant and a source of:
- ADVANCED CARE FOR PATIENT
- QUALITY ASSURANCE
- RISK MANAGEMENT
- CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR TECHNICIANS
- PEACE OF MIND FOR SURGICAL TEAM
The combination of using a certified technician along with a live professional reader can greatly improve patient care, providing the surgeon and operating room staff with important real-time data, thus improving risk management for the surgeon and hospital alike. With the full spectrum of services offered by RITON, the associated costs to the hospitals are significantly less due to the high price of disposable soft goods that other companies typically charge the hospital.
